how cute is that!
our story

It's really just 'me' and my story is short but sweet.  One Friday in early 2005, I was headed to work (T.G.I.F.) a latte in my left hand; laptop in my right, struggling to open the double doors that led to corporate america... only to find out an hour later that my boss was calling me with the unfortunate news that I was a victim of a corporate layoff and my last day was to be that same day.  Some Friday.   What turned out to be a blessing in disguise was quite painful the first few days.  Then I started dreading the thought of going back to work any time soon, or any time ever for that matter.  But knowing that being married, having two children and a passion for eating out and being born to shop - eventually, sooner rather than later, I would have to begin contributing again financially.  We could no longer afford daycare nor was it required. So my 2-year old daughter (now 4) got to stay home with mommy for these past few years, in which I took up sewing and decided to start my own company creating baby accessories and marketing them over the net.  I've always had a burning desire to do something and be something creative, and for me, that outlet is fashion and design.  One year later and one day at a time, 'H.C.I.T. - How Cute Is That' was born!

All of HCIT products are handmade in the U.S.A.  They are designed, cut and sewn by yours truly!  I don't own industrialized machinery that will cut patterns with lazer beams (unfortunately)!  Knowing this, please note that each item may vary slightly in pattern and cut but is guaranteed to be unique in every way!

It's been a crazy ride the past few years but I couldn't be more proud to share my designs and creations across the globe!  I truly hope you enjoy H.C.I.T. products as much as I love to create them.  I've been blessed with this wonderful opportunity and only able to live out my dream because of customers like you and with the loving support of my family and friends.  I live by this phrase and quote it daily -

"There are no accidents in life"

Many Thanks!
